PCOS Millennials and ProspHER partnership

PCOS Millennials and ProspHER Partnership: What began as a simple LinkedIn message between two women from different parts of the world has grown into a meaningful collaboration built around women’s health, education, opportunity, and empowerment.

Sometimes, you don’t realize you’re standing at the beginning of something important.

It can start with a message, comment, conversation, simple “hello” and then, somewhere along the way, two women discover that although they live thousands of miles apart, they have been working toward something remarkably similar.

That is how the story of PCOS Millennials and ProspHER began.

Today, I am incredibly happy to share that PCOS Millennials and ProspHER are officially partnering to create more opportunities for women through health education, learning, community, and empowerment.

But this isn’t simply a business partnership, for me, it feels much more personal than that.

It feels like one of those moments when you look back at the small decisions that brought you here and realize that they were leading somewhere all along.

How PCOS Millennials and ProspHER First Connected

Our story started on LinkedIn.

I had come across Serena Fordham and her work with ProspHER: Where Women Shine, a platform created to help women grow, learn, build confidence, and discover new opportunities.

I became curious about what she was building. Eventually, Serena reached out to me. What could have been just another LinkedIn conversation turned into something much more meaningful.

She introduced me to ProspHER and gave me the opportunity to experience the platform for myself.

So I did what I naturally do. I explored it. I asked questions. I looked at how it could help women and I started thinking about how something like ProspHER could also connect with the work I have been building through PCOS Millennials.

That experience eventually led me to write my first article about ProspHER:

“ProspHER Review: Is This AI Career Coach Worth It for Filipina Women?”

It wasn’t written simply to promote a platform. I wanted to look at it through the eyes of a Filipina woman. Would this be useful for women here? Could technology help women discover opportunities? Could an international platform actually feel relevant to women in the Philippines?

Those questions started a conversation that would eventually become much bigger than a review.

ProspHer

From a Platform Review to a Personal Connection

The more I learned about Serena, the more I realized that ProspHER was not simply another technology platform.

There was a woman behind it, a founder a woman who had her own experiences, challenges, setbacks, and reasons for wanting to create something better for other women. That made me want to understand the person behind the platform.

And that’s when our conversations became more personal. We talked about women. We talked about entrepreneurship. We talked about building something from the ground up. We talked about the challenges women face. We talked about the importance of creating opportunities and eventually, we discovered something that surprised me.

We had so much in common.

We were separated by geography, culture, and thousands of miles but our reasons for doing what we do felt incredibly close.

Katie Oman

The Story Behind ProspHER and the Friendship That Inspired Me

There was another part of Serena’s story that touched me deeply.

Her friendship with Katie Oman. I previously wrote about their friendship in: “The Friendship Behind ProspHER: How Katie Oman and Serena Fordham Built More Than a Business.”

That story made me think about something I have learned throughout my own journey with PCOS Millennials.

Women rarely build meaningful things completely alone. Behind every woman who keeps going, there is often another woman who encouraged her. Someone who believed in her. Someone who opened a door. Someone who listened. Someone who reminded her that her dream was worth pursuing.

Sometimes that support comes from a lifelong friend.

Sometimes it comes from a mentor. Sometimes it comes unexpectedly from another woman on the other side of the world, for me, meeting Serena felt like discovering another woman who understood that women need more than motivation.

They need real support. They need access. They need information. They need community.

And they need opportunities.

PCOS Millennials and ProspHER Partnership

Two Platforms. Two Missions. One Shared Vision.

PCOS Millennials and ProspHER are different platforms and that’s exactly why I believe this partnership can be powerful.

PCOS Millennials focuses on women’s health. Our work centers on PCOS, PMOS, fertility, hormonal health, reproductive health awareness, education, real stories, and community support.

PCOS Millennials was created because too many women are left trying to understand their bodies alone.

A woman may experience irregular periods, fertility struggles, hormonal symptoms, insulin resistance, emotional challenges, or years of uncertainty without having enough information or support. The platform exists to help women feel less alone and more informed.

ProspHER focuses on women’s growth and opportunity.

Through learning, career development, community, confidence-building, and opportunities for women, ProspHER approaches empowerment from another important direction. And when we put these two missions beside each other, something becomes clear.

A woman’s health and her future are connected.

A Woman Is More Than Her Diagnosis

This is something I feel very strongly about.

A woman living with PCOS is not just a diagnosis. She is a daughter , a mother, a wife, a business owner. An employee, a student, a caregiver. An entrepreneur a dreamer.

She may be trying to get pregnant, may be trying to keep her job, may be trying to start a business, may be raising children, may be recovering from an abusive relationship, may be struggling financially.

She may be trying to understand why her body doesn’t feel the way she expected it to.

And sometimes, she is dealing with several of these things at the same time that is why women’s empowerment cannot stop at health education and it cannot stop at career development either.

Women need support for the whole journey.

Why Women’s Health and Financial Empowerment Belong Together

Imagine a woman who finally understands her PCOS.

She learns about her menstrual cycle, learns about fertility, understands why insulin resistance matters and becomes more confident talking to her doctor.

But then she asks herself: “What about my future?”

What if she needs a job? What if she needs flexible work because she’s a mother? What if she wants to learn a new skill? What if she never finished school? What if she wants to start a small business?

What if she has been financially dependent on someone else for years?

What if she wants to rebuild her life? These questions are just as important. This is where I see the potential of our partnership.

Health empowerment can become the foundation for wider personal empowerment and financial independence can give a woman more choices about her life, her health, and her future.

PCOS Millennials and ProspHER

From the Philippines to the United Kingdom

I am based in the Philippines.

Serena is based in the United Kingdom, yet our conversation never felt limited by geography. That matters to me because one of my biggest dreams for PCOS Millennials has always been to make women feel supported wherever they are.

I don’t want a Filipina woman to feel that support is only available if she lives in Manila.

I don’t want access to women’s health education to depend on being in a major city and I don’t want a woman’s dreams to be limited by where she was born. Women in rural communities deserve access.

Women with limited financial resources deserve access.

Mothers deserve access. Young women deserve access. Older women deserve access. Women rebuilding their lives deserve access.

And women outside the Philippines deserve to know that they are part of a much bigger global community.

PCOS Millennials has already been building connections with global collaborators across women’s health, bringing together different perspectives, expertise, and approaches to supporting women.

Our partnership with ProspHER is another step in that direction.

What We Are Building Together

Our first collaboration will focus on education.

We are working toward creating accessible learning content around fertility and women’s health for the ProspHER platform. The goal is not to overwhelm women with complicated medical information.

The goal is to make learning approachable.

Shorter lessons, clear explanations, practical information real conversations, welcoming content and education that helps women ask better questions and feel more confident about their own health.

This is especially meaningful to me because PCOS Millennials has always been about making women’s health conversations easier to understand.

The platform already provides educational resources and free assessments designed to help women learn more about PCOS, fertility, and related health concerns. Now, through our partnership with ProspHER, we have another opportunity to bring that education to a wider community.

And This Is Only the Beginning

The first step is fertility and women’s health education but I see a much bigger possibility.

I dream of a future where women can find healthcare information, community support, learning opportunities, career resources, and pathways toward financial independence in one connected ecosystem. I imagine a future PCOS Millennials app where women can discover clinics and healthcare services throughout the Philippines not only in major cities but also in communities that are often overlooked.

I imagine partnerships with clinics that can provide affordable PCOS diagnostic packages.

I imagine women discovering teleconsultation and educational resources, imagine mothers finding flexible jobs, imagine women learning digital skills, imagine women learning practical trades, imagine women discovering opportunities to work remotely or onsite.

I imagine women who never finished school realizing that their education does not have to be the end of their story.

I imagine women who want to start a business finding training and, eventually, access to opportunities that can help them take that first step and I imagine women who want to work internationally being able to learn the skills they need to compete.

That is the future I want to work toward not simply a health platform.

A women’s empowerment ecosystem.

The Power of Women Supporting Women

There is something incredibly powerful about women supporting women.

It doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like a LinkedIn message. Sometimes it looks like sharing someone’s post. Sometimes it looks like introducing someone to your network. Sometimes it looks like giving another woman a chance. Sometimes it looks like saying: “I see what you’re building. Keep going.” that can change someone’s life.

For a founder building something independently, those moments matter.

PCOS Millennials wasn’t built overnight. It has grown through countless small steps. Writing articles, creating resources, building free assessments, speaking about PCOS, connecting with healthcare professionals, working with collaborators, talking to women, listening to their stories.

Showing up even when it would have been easier to stop that journey has taught me something.

Sometimes you don’t need someone to build the dream for you. You just need someone willing to walk beside you and that’s what makes this partnership special.

What This Means for Filipina Women

For Filipinas, this partnership represents something I deeply believe in.

We can build globally while remaining proudly rooted in the Philippines. We can share our experiences with women in other countries. We can learn from women elsewhere. We can create technology that doesn’t forget women outside major cities. We can bring Filipino women’s voices into global women’s health conversations and we can show that a woman from the Philippines can build something that reaches far beyond the Philippines.

I want every Filipina to know:

Your location does not define your potential.

Your diagnosis does not define your future. Your financial situation does not define your worth. Your past does not decide where your story ends. There is always another chapter.

When I look back at how this started, it’s almost funny.

It wasn’t a huge business meeting. It wasn’t a major conference. It wasn’t a carefully planned international expansion strategy. It started with two women finding each other’s work online.

Then came a message. Then a platform review. Then another conversation. Then a story about friendship. Then a meeting where we realized just how much we had in common and now, we’re building something together, that is the part of women’s empowerment I love the most.

The door doesn’t always appear where you expect it.

Sometimes another woman opens it for you and sometimes, after walking through that door, you realize you can hold it open for someone else.

To the woman reading this who is struggling with PCOS, to the woman waiting for answers about her fertility, to the mother who wants to return to work, to the woman who wants financial independence, to the woman who feels like she’s starting over, to the young woman who doesn’t know what comes next, to the woman who thinks she is too old to begin again, please remember this: You are not finished.

Your story is still being written and you don’t have to figure everything out at once.

One lesson. One conversation. One connection. One opportunity. One brave decision at a time that is what we hope this partnership can help create.

More knowledge, confidence, connections, opportunities and women helping women.
